I have video of two MySQL servers (one master, on slave) failing over from Master to Slave.  The Master becomes the Slave and vise-verse with the slave becoming read-only.

As a part of the MySQL community, I run MySQL Fan Boy and write tech stories each week. Last week the community talked about how to keep track of the community and the web sites we all use and podcasts we lesson to.

I made the mistake of posting “my list” of links I read each week without much other content. OPPS  I think the Google (an automated mindless machine doing no eval – wink  wink) saw this as link bate.  My Account was Disabled and my Money was gone.  (If Google disables your account the also return an earnings you have accumulated.) Now I’m left to file an appeal and pray.  (I’m told “Good Luck”.)

As it turned out, My list of links got me a shout out on a podcast ( OurSql ) and sent lots of traffic to my site just as I got banned.

In a world powered by Google, do I dare post Web Links. Must I write N number of words with each link?
